NL Scholarship (formerly Holland Scholarship)

Description

The NL Scholarship (formerly the Holland Scholarship), administered by Nuffic, provides a one-time payment of EUR 5,000 during the first year of study. It is available to students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at a participating Dutch institution. Please note that this is NOT a full scholarship: it does not cover full tuition fees or living expenses. The list of participating institutions and institution-specific deadlines are published annually on studyinnl.org. Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year have been open since 1 November 2025; deadlines vary by institution (often 1 February or 1 May).
