The DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) program offers fully funded scholarships for Master's and PhD candidates from developing countries to pursue study and research at state or state-recognized German universities for the 2027–2028 academic year. Coverage & Financial Support: Monthly Stipend: €992 per month for Master's students; €1,300 per month for doctoral candidates. Full Allowances: Includes health, accident, and personal liability insurance, travel allowance, initial research grant, and family allowances when applicable. Tuition: 100% waiver for covered degree programs. Eligibility & Requirements: Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a relevant field after completing a Bachelor's degree. Academic Credentials: Bachelor's degree (typically completed within the last 6 years). Language Proficiency: Proof of English (IELTS/TOEFL) or German proficiency depending on the degree language of instruction. Key Deadlines: Deadlines range from August to October 2026 depending on the specific participating university program. Applications are submitted directly to the chosen master's program, not to DAAD.
