Helmut Veith Stipend in Computer Science, 2026–2027

Description

The Helmut Veith Stipend is a scholarship offered by TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) for outstanding female international students who wish to pursue an English-taught Master’s degree in Computer Science at TU Wien. The scholarship provides €7,000 per year for up to two years, together with a full waiver of tuition fees at TU Wien. Eligible applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent field, have a strong technical and mathematical background, and demonstrate an interest in areas such as logic in computer science, formal methods and verification, foundations of artificial intelligence, algorithms and complexity theory, or computer security. English proficiency is required, although the specific proof of English proficiency depends on the applicant’s educational background. For the 2026–2027 academic year, applications close on 30 November 2026. The scholarship does not cover living expenses, accommodation, or travel costs, so it should be considered partially funded, despite the tuition-fee waiver.
