Stipendium Hungaricum — Hungarian Government Scholarship

Description

Stipendium Hungaricum is the Hungarian government's flagship scholarship programme, designed for international students pursuing bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees in Hungary. The scholarship provides full tuition exemption, a monthly stipend of 43,700 HUF for bachelor's and master's students, or 140,000–180,000 HUF for doctoral candidates (depending on the study phase), free dormitory accommodation or a monthly housing allowance of 40,000 HUF, and medical insurance. Please note that airfare is NOT covered. Applicants must be nominated in advance by the Sending Partner in their home country. With a published acceptance rate of approximately 5.6%, the programme is highly competitive.
