Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships 2027–2028

Description

The Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded scholarship offered through a partnership between the University of Oxford, the Mastercard Foundation, the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), and Saïd Business School. The programme supports outstanding African students who wish to pursue the Oxford MBA during the 2027–2028 academic year. The scholarship covers 100% of the MBA tuition fees and provides a living-cost grant of at least £21,805. Scholars also benefit from tailored leadership and professional development programmes, networking opportunities, and comprehensive support before, during, and after their studies at Oxford. The programme is open to African nationals who are ordinarily resident in an African country, have not previously completed a Master's degree, and demonstrate a strong commitment to Africa's sustainable development. Applicants must also meet the University of Oxford's MBA admission requirements. Up to three scholarships are available for the 2027–2028 academic year. There is no separate scholarship application. Eligible candidates must submit their complete Oxford MBA application by 6 January 2027 to be considered for the scholarship. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the University for further assessment.
