The NL-High Potential Scholarship programme at Maastricht University in the Netherlands awards fully funded excellence scholarships each year to highly talented international students from outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). Target audience: Outstanding non-EU/EEA applicants under the age of 35 who wish to pursue a full-time master's programme at Maastricht University. Benefits and financial coverage: - Full tuition fee waiver. - Living allowance (subsistence costs): • Approximately €20,150 for a one-year master's programme (covering 13 months). • Approximately €38,750 for a two-year master's programme (covering 25 months). - Insurance (health and liability coverage). - Visa application costs. - Pre-academic training costs. Important note: To apply for this scholarship, candidates must first register for and meet the admission requirements of an eligible master's programme at Maastricht University before the admission deadline (typically 10 December), and then submit a separate scholarship application package including a motivation letter, CV, academic transcripts demonstrating top grades, and a letter of recommendation.
