Government of Taiwan Fellowships

Applications are now open for the Government of Taiwan Fellowships. This fully funded scholarship is available to foreign experts and scholars interested in research related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, the Asia-Pacific region, and Sinology. Established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is fully funded and awarded to foreign nationals for a period of 3 to 12 months. Fellowships are tenable at universities and academic institutions in Taiwan. It is not a degree program. You come for three to twelve months, work on a topic related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, the Asia-Pacific, or Sinology, and get paid. To date, more than 1,500 scholars from over 93 countries have been accepted into this research program on the Asian continent.
